Modern Classicism kneehole desk by Carl Malmsten (1888-1972), with three drawers integrated into the apron and two cabinets with doors flanking the knee hole (left ops to shelving, the right to internal slide-out drawers), in flame birch with inlaid frieze course treatment to apron having various clssically inspired devices on a macassar ebony background, carved squared tassel-form legs, Sweden, 1920s. Restored on request.
