Functionalist candelabra by Rolf Engströmer
An iconic example of Swedish Modern Design, this pair of Functionalist silvered candelabra designed by Rolf Engströmer (1892-1970) were included in Åke Huldt’s 1941 review of the best examples of Swedish design from the 1930s (c.f. Huldt, Konsthandwerk och Hemslöjdi Sverge 1930-1940, Göteborg, 1941, pg. 23). Each candelabrum has a row of three sockets.
