Table lamp by C. G. Hallberg

Art Deco silvered table / desk lamp designed by Elis Bergh (1881-1954) and crafted at the C. G. Hallberg Workshop (C.G. Hallbergs Guldsmedsaktiebolag) in Stockholm, in the late 1920s=early 1930s. Combining the lyricism and restraint of Swedish Grace with the geometry of French Art Moderne the model has a theme of repeated squares and squared forms and consists of a dynamically tapered pedestal sprouting from a fluted fan motif, supporting an integrated harp with fan finial, and mounted on a square plinth with mitered corners and an embossed rosette. Stamped with crowned CGH mark. Single lamp available as well. / #CGH105
