Settee with a surprisingly harmonious synthesis of traditional furniture construction (dowel-style splayed legs and scrolling arms) and a Modernist bent laminate curved back, all in Swedish pine, a design attributed to Carl Malmsten (1888-1972) and executed by Karl Andersson & Söner, Huskvarna, Sweden, 1930s.
