Table with baluster legs in oak and pine by Kristoffer Varming, attrib

Grandly scaled rectangular table, having six Renaissance style baluster legs mounted on a graphic stepped base in turn transitioning into six similarly stepped feet, offset by an orthagonal plank top with apron, executed in solid oak and pine and attributed to Kristoffer Varming, Denmark, circa 1920. Provenance, the Western High Court building at Viborg (1917-1920), which was designed by architect Kristoffer Varming. Excellent original condition with slight wear with age; restored on request.
