This year BAC celebrates its 15th years as one of New York City’s leading decorative art dealers. Located in a former SoHo warehouse, the gallery presents a revolving selection of fine 20th century European antiques selected with a connoisseur’s eye and a passionate interest in architectural and design history.

Representing the best of French and Nordic design, BAC offers work by well-known 20th century masters, such as Jean-Michel Frank, Jean Royère, Axel Einar Hjorth, and Kaare Klint, as well as pieces by numerous other creators chosen for their intrinsic quality and beauty.

BAC has an international reputation in its field and has been featured in leading publications, such as Architectural Digest, Departures, Elle Décor, the New York Times, Town & Country, Veranda and the Wall Street Journal.

Located at the same address, Aparicio + Associates is a full-service architectural firm that focuses on elegant residential and commercial projects. A+A works in a boutique fashion with clients to create considered and sophisticated environments that maintain the highest standards of execution.

CARLOS APARICIO is principal and founder of Aparicio + Associates. Born in Cuba, he has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard University. JAMES BURESH is director at BAC. He has a bachelor’s degree in Art History from Trinity University and a master’s degree in the history of decorative arts, design, and culture From the Bard Graduate Center. His upcoming monograph on Terence-Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings will be published by Acanthus Press.
